VP Shettima, Sen Umeh, Ds Hor Kalu, Umeoji arrives Chinua Achebe airport

The Senator representing Anambra Central, Senator Victor Umeh accompanies Vice President Kashim Shettima to the commissioning of Electric Meter Manufacturing Factory built by the Chrome Group owned by an illustrious Anambra indigene, Sir Emeka Offor in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The Vice President’s entourage which also comprised of the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu and former representative of Aguata Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji was received by the Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo at the Anambra International Airport, Umueri.

Recall that Distinguished Senator Dr Victor Umeh OFR on Thursday 20th July, 2023 moved a Motion in the Senate on the “Urgent Need to Protect Local Meter Manufacturers in the Ongoing National Mass Metering Programme of the Federal Government.”
