Your pastor should be respected morethan your parents – Revd Ayintete

Revd Ayintete has revealed that your pastor has higher authority than your parents.

He said your pastor is higher authority than your parents.Your parents are natural authorities. Earthly authorities. Your pastor is a supernatural authority.

An authority Jesus did and rose to give. Anyone can be a parent. You have to be called by Jesus to be a pastor. Now, a true pastor will teach you to honour your parents and to honour all men.

Honour your presidents and governors too. However, as far as spiritual realities are higher than physical realities, so is the authority of a pastor over that of a parent. Except of course your parents are your pastors, which makes them double as both your spiritual authorities and earthly authorities.

This also doesn’t suggest a pastor can take the place of a parent on domestic affairs like giving a child out for marriage or collecting bride price etc

It just means the pastor has a higher authority on a divine scale and can enforce spiritual realities that earthly parents cannot.
