Oyedepo Mocks Greedy Pastors With Fake Anointing (video)
I stumbled upon this video where Bishop David Oyedepo, head of Living Faith Church Worldwide, was imitating greedy pastors who use tricks to get people to give them more money
“Bring an offering, hallelujah. Joel chapter 2 verse 13. Jeremiah chapter 14 verse 15. Now, sit down and repackage your offering. You need to give more to the Lord. What you’re giving is below your size. Now stand up! Stand up again. Okay sit down. Somebody needs to write a cheque that he has not written.” he said, imitating the greedy pastors.
Somebody coming to the church for the first time will say “is this church, or bazaar?” So unbelievers are just laughing the people to scorn. There is no power there. There can’t be power with love of money at the center of your heart. Where will you get the power from? So the best you can do is to push people down. “Hmm!” (imitates anounting push) “My God!” (laughter). And they fall down and rise (yet) there’s no difference.
