Minister task Nigerians on farming to improve economy
Alhaji Mohammad Abubakar, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, on Saturday urged people to venture into agriculture to improve the economy.
Abubakar made the call on the second day his familiarisation tour of some Agricultural facilities in Kaduna.

Attack on APC official in Nasarawa shocking — Council boss
Mr Mohammed Idris, the Chairman, Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Council of Nasarawa State, has expressed shock over the attack on Mr Waziri Umbugadu Enwongulu, the APC Wakama ward Legal Adviser.
He said the attack and burning of the house belonging to Mr Paul Angbazo, the elder brother to the APC chieftain, was uncalled for and ungodly.
Idris stated this on Saturday while commisserating with the victim in Wakama, Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area.

UNICAL approves creation of digital profiles of students –VC
Prof. Florence Obi, Vice Chancellor, University of Calabar, has approved the implementation of Intelligent Digital Identity System (IDID) and the production of biometric-based intelligent identity cards, in order to have digital profiles of students of the institution.

Ember months not different from other months of the year — FRSC
The Federal Road Safety Corps in Ebonyi has advised the public to disregard the widely-held notion that the Ember months are different from other months of the year.
The Sector Commander of the Corps in the state, Anthony Okore, gave the advice on Saturday in Abakaliki while flagging-off the 2021 Ember months road safety campaign.
Okore said that human factors create the notion of negativity during the last four months of the year and if prevented, would prove that such months are not different from others…..
